Limited Edition Les Paul Custom Pro Koa is a brand new Epiphone axe. It has been introduced together with another Koa model - Limited Edition Wildkat Koa. Standard 24-3/4" scale, 22-fret fingerboard and standard hardware & electronics layout characterize the Custom Pro Koa LP. Gold-plated hardware complements the beautiful koa top (there`s no pickguard on this model). Multi-layered black and white binding and black plastic parts (pickup rings, pots) complete the visual theme. There is no official price, but the general assumption is that it will hover around $700. Natural is the only color option available. Limited Edition Les Paul Custom Pro Koa comes in with a solid, single-cut body made of mahogany base and figured koa top (two-piece top, standard Epiphone LP contour). The neck is made of mahogany (as it usually is on Gibson/Epi axes) and rocks the 1960s slim taper D profile in the back. 22-fret fingerboard on its top is made of rosewood (block inlays, 1.68 Graphtech nut, 12" radius). The pickups combo includes two Epiphone ProBucker humbuckers. They come with gold-plated covers, standard LP controls (plus push/pull switches on volume knobs) and coil-splitting ability. Two-piece TOM/stoptail bridge and Grover Rotomatic tuners complete the specs list.
