Classic Series Z model is the most classic and most standard Z of them all. Z has been in the Dean Guitars catalog since the very beginning and is in production lines continuously since the late 1970s. Many different variants are being made, ranging from beginner models to custom and signature instruments. This particular Z is a solid-bodied beast made of mahogany. There is no top wood on this one and it sports a bolt-on neck joint. Metallic Red, Metallic Blue and Metallic White comprise the color palette. Bridge section on this one is equipped with a tune-o-matic bridge with string-through construction. Dual humbuckers in the front feature a standard controls unit. Neck is made of maple and it rocks the C contour in the back. 22-fret fingerboard is made of rosewood.
