USA RC8 Xenocide is a Rusty Cooley eight-string signature model from Dean Guitars. It is placed in their Signature Artist series. This model kicks off with a super strat shaped body made of alder. It is available in black with glossy finish and red Xenocide custom graphic. The bridge is an eight-string version of the tune-o-matic bridge. EMG 808 pickups are placed in the bridge and neck position with the bridge pickup being slanted. Controls consist of a master volume and three position blade switch. The neck is made of maple and has a set-in joint. Ebony fingerboard features 24 fanned frets without position inlays. The scale length is 25-1/2" at the 8th low B string and 23-1/2" at the first high A string.
