David Shankle is best known as the former guitar player of Manowar, America`s premier power metal band. Among the fans and colleagues, Shankle is known as 'the shred demon'. For almost 20 years now, he is the leading member of the David Shankle Group. David also endorses Dean guitars. His signature model is a seven-stringed V made by Dean`s USA department. DS7 is made of mahogany. It`s a modern looking V with flat top and glossy black color. Edges of the top are beveled. Bridge section on this model is equipped with a kahler trem bridge. Kahler`s bridges are the only competition and alternative to famous Floyd Rose. EMG 707 pickups are installed in the front. Through-body mahogany neck is topped with a 24-fret ebony fingerboard.
