Thoroughbred series is one of the most popular and most successful LP-based series ever made. Sublime single-cut Thoroughtbreds bring the ultimate in both tone and looks, while still remaining affordable to every guitar player out there. With the new Thoroughbred Stealth Operator, Dean celebrates the brave soldiers of the US army who risked their lives in Afghanistan at the dawn of war on terror. The group, named Task Force Dagger, was a joint Special Operations team consisting of Green Berets from the 5th Special Forces Group, aircrew members from the160th Special Operations Aviation Regiment (SOAR), and Air Force Combat Controllers. Dean celebrates their struggle and contribution to world democracy and freedom with this magnificent Stealth. Only sixteen Stealth Operators will be made and $50 from each purchase will be donated to the Special Operations Warriors Foundation. This is a solid-bodied electric guitar with the iconic LP single-cut design and classic Dean construction. Solid mahogany body is topped with a carved maple cap and paired with a mahogany-made neck. On the top, there`s the classic hardtail bridge combo made up of tune-o-matic bridge in the front and the stoptail bar in the back. Pickups combo is made up of the mighty EMG 81 int he bridge position and 85 in the neck position. These two are fit with the classic LP controls set: two volume knobs, two tone knobs and a three-way toggle pickup switch comprise it. Set in neck rocks the comfortable and super fast C contour in the back and a standard 22-fret rosewood fingerboard on top. The MSRP is set at $1393.45, with the sale price being set at $899.
