Thoroughbred series has received five-fold update for 2013. It consists of fantastic single-cut guitars with solid bodies, 22-fret fingerboards, strong pickups and signature Dean tone. Also, one of the most important traits of the entire series is Dean`s world-famous build quality which guarantees players will have the ultimate experience with these guitars. One of the stars of Dean booth at 2013 NAMM was Thoroughbred Deluxe model. It comes with a classic Thoroughbred single-cut body made of mahogany back and flamed maple top. Body of this model is equipped with creme binding and high gloss finish. Scary Cherry, Natural and Trans Amber are color schemes available for this Deluxe. Neck on this model is made of mahogany and it is set in. Cutaway of this model is extra deep and Dean calls it "Ultra Access". Also, the heal is more comfortable than on the previous Deluxe. C contour is featured in the back, while the top sports the 22-fret ebony fingerboard. Bridge section on this Thoroughbred is a standard one, as it features a tune-o-matic bridge in the front with stoptail bar in the back. USA DMT humbuckers are featured in the front.
