Rusty Cooley is one of the most appreciated shredders in Dean`s Signature Artist lineup. Accomplished teacher and performer, Rusty is also Dean`s best selling endorser in the shred region. 7 String Flame Top is one of two 2016 models Rusty and Dean Guitars unveiled at this year`s NAMM. Rusty Cooley 7 String Flame Top comes in in two versions - Trans Black and Trans Blue. Both have mahogany backs and two-piece maple tops. Of course, both have traditional bolt-on maple necks. 26-fret (Dean`s site states 25-1/2-fret) rosewood fingerboard pushes the neck pickup back a little bit and boasts ominous Xenocide inlays. EMG`s 707 humbuckers fill both the bridge and neck positions. Double-locking Floyd Rose bridge nad Grover tuners conclude the list of major features.
