Razorback DB Floyd DNA Spatter is a brand new Dime series guitar for 2016. It belongs to the intermediate class, aiming at players who are looking for a proper metal axe to replace their starter guitar. Also, it might be very interesting to all Dime`s fans since it bears a graphic designed by Dime himself (Dean`s official site even includes a photo of the original sketch drawn by Dime). High quality pickups, simple and sturdy construction, good playability and mind-blowing looks are the main selling points of this affordable beauty. Razorback DB Floyd DNA Spatter starts off with a solid and beveled Razorback body made of mahogany (cheaper Dime models mostly have basswood bodies) and a maple neck with V profile. These two are connected through a standard four-bolt neck joint. The neck is topped with a 22-fret rosewood fingerboard with V inlays and jumbo frets. Electronics section is pretty simple and features a standard set of pickups (great DMT Design humbuckers) with a standard set of controls. Licensed Floyd Rose bridge is installed behind the bridge pickup. It is clad in black like the rest of the hardware, including a set of die-cast pickups on the headstock.
