Custom 380 Floyd is a solid, double-cut guitar with Soloist-like styling. Both looks and tone of this model are reminiscent of the 1980s. Body is carved on the top and made of basswood base with flamed maple top. Trans Amberburst, Trans Black and Trans Blue color options are assigned to the palette of this model. All three are finished in high gloss. None of them has a pickguard, nor it features binding around the top. DMT Design pickups are installed in H/S/H configuration. Master volume, master tone and a five-position blade switch complete the electronics section. Behind them, a Floyd Rose bridge is installed. Neck is made of maple, it`s bolted tot he body and topped with a standard 24-fret fingerboard made of rosewood.

Picked this guitar up brand new with Thank You points i'd been saving. Was going to use it as a knock-around Floyd guitar since it's the only one i own that has a Floyd. Was pleasantly surprised. Replaced the strings with 10 gauge D'Addario's and set it up. I use it for all "Scott Henderson and Jeff Beck" type playing and it plays like a charm. Haven't replaced the pickups yet but the stock one dont sound too bad through my Marshall Silver Jubilee and Line 6 DT-50.
