Colt series offers semi-hollow guitars, in both six and twelve-string variants. Some of the models also have piezo pickups in addition to the conventional magnetic humbuckers. Main features include single-cut Colt bodies (reminiscent in design of the legendary 1950s/60s semi-hollows), set-in necks, 24-3/4" scales, high-quality hardware, and DMT pickups. Colt Flame Top 12 String w/piezo is the latest addition to the popular Colt range. It offers the standard semi-hollow/single-cut body, set-in neck, 24-3/4" scale, twelve strings, and hybrid electronics. Scary Cherry is the name of the only available color option. Other notable features include maple back/sides, flame maple soundboard, C-shaped maple neck, 22-fret rosewood fingerboard, two-piece hardtail bridge unit w/piezo pickup, conventional DMT Design humbuckers w/coil-splitting function, and Mini Grover tuners.
