Boca 12-String is one very special model from Dean Guitars, as it is one of very few electrics with 12-string construction in their catalog. It is the only model in current Boca 12 series lineup and it features a double-cut, semi-hollow body reminiscent of the Les Paul Standard shape. It is made of mahogany back and sides with flamed maple top. Creme binding is applied around the top, as well as around the edges of the "f" holes carved onto the top. Bridge section is a classic one, it has a tune-o-matic bridge in the front with stoptail bar in the back. Dean humbuckers with zebra coils are installed in the front. Bolt-on maple neck is topped with a 22-fret rosewood fingerboard.

Incredible guitar at any price. The slightly wider neck makes playing it easy. The finish is very, very nice (mine is black with white trim). Without a doubt, it is top heavy. You'll find yourself holding the neck up. The guitar itself, for it's size, is heavy. Well built. Solid. Pickups have a great sound. The keys aren't the best, but more than adequate. The fretboard finish is nice and smooth, as are the frets. For the price, you can't beat it. Sounds like the Byrd's twelve string solos. Stays in tune very well. I'd buy another if it were stollen. Overall, other than being top heavy, I love this guitar. I hate it being top heavy, but I've said that 6 times now. I have a Yamaha 12 string, and this is easier to play and sounds fuller. It would be awesome with gold hardware.

Great guitar, have own for a couple of years now. Well made, nice action, and that sound! It replaces 2 Rickenbacker I had, For the money, I am quite happy, to have a replacement that gives me the sound I want and not the price I would have to pay.
