Daisy Rock is a California-based brand of electric and acoustic guitars and basses oriented towards girls. Predominantly feminine design and styling are applied throughout the extensive catalog. Even though being a young brand, Daisy Rock has already achieved a substantial level of popularity among female guitar players and performers. Mostly, the catalog is made up of common body shapes decorated with feminine color options and styling. Stardust Elite Venus, for example, has double-cut Les Paul shape and it is made of mahogany with cute abalone binding. Glossy finish is applied over the entire body. Tune-o-matic bridge on the top features string-through construction. It is fronted by a pair of active humbucking pickups. Set in mahogany neck is topped with a 22-fret fingerboard made of rosewood.

I admit I have a problem in that I am always searching for the perfect guitar and I hate spending money. I normally play acoustic but a few years ago got in my mind that I wanted an electric guitar. I borrowed a flying V from my neighbour and just about broke my back and playing a barre chord was next to impossible. But, 3 years later and finally I parted with a my money - never looked back! I bought a itty bitty orange crush practice amp for a couple of years and finally broke down recently and bought a decent Line6 amp. I love my DR all over again. As a 5'2" gal with small hands and frame, finding a something that didn't break my hands or body is always hard. Think about - even a Gibson SG was designed for and by a guy whose hands, even if 5'2" are likely to be bigger than mine. I don't understand why more gals have not picked up on this.
