ST series in Cruzer catalog is dedicated to the production of the Stratocaster clones. All of the models come with the classic Strat design and construction copied straight from the Fender legend. ST-200 is one of several currently active models in the ST range. It comes with a solid, double-cut basswood body and a bolt-on maple neck. Passive pickups installed on the top are far from being a match for Fender Strat pickups. They do give the one reminiscent of the double-cut icon, but nothing more than that. Tremolo bridge behind them is pretty hard to use and the tuning machines could use an upgrade. Maple-made neck offers a fairly high level of comfort, but that can not be said for the 22-fret rosewood fingerboard on the top. All in all, it gives a decent bang for the buck, but pales in comparison to Fender, and even pricier Squier models.
