Cort`s Zenox Series features single cutaway models fashioned after the legendary Les Paul from Gibson. For 2012 Zenox Series has got an entire new line of Custom models. The line currently consists of Custom 1 and Custom 2 models. Z Custom 2 model is a solid bodied, single cutaway model with a body made of mahogany with a flame maple top. It is available in trans black color option with glossy finish and a contoured top. The bridge on Z Custom 2 is a tune-o-matic in combination with string-through-body construction. The pickup combo on this model is EMG 81 active humbucker in the bridge and EMG 85 active humbucker in the neck position. They are controlled through a master tone with push-pull function for coil splitting and split volume knobs. Pickup switching is done through a three-way toggle. The neck is made of 3 pieces of Canadian maple with a set-in neck joint. Fingerboard is made of rosewood and it features 22 large sized frets, mother of pearl "Z" inlay at the 12th fret and 12" radius. Other features on this model include: 24-3/4" scale length, die-cast tuning machine and black nickel hardware.
