Surf Green Matte
The CR series deals with Les Paul-inspired electric guitars and is one of main pillars of Cort`s guitar catalog. Predominantly, the CR models compete in beginner, lower intermediate and intermediate classes. Occasionally, Cort would introduce an upscale semi-pro model, usually in the form of a limited edition. CR-LTD16 is also a limited edition axe, but it is not an expensive one. It is more of a standard CR fare, price-wise. It cleverly combines the classic LP and Telecaster visual and construction cues, managing to achieve an original look. Sea Foam Green Matte is the only available color option.
CR-LTD16 comes in with a beautifully rounded single-cut body and a not-so-very-thin bolt-on neck. The body is made of ash, while the neck is made of hard maple. White plastic pickguard tops the neck, along with chrome-plated hardware. The neck is more suited for traditional players who like bulkier profiles. It features a 22-fret rosewood fingerboard on top. Duncan Designed single-coil pickups (P-90 in the neck) deliver everything from country to reggae, roots rock and blues. Even some heavier traditional rock tunes could come into consideration. Tele-style bridge with three saddles, Tele-styled controls unit and die-cast tuners complete the specs list.
