CL comes shaped after the iconic Les Paul and it is a completely refreshed take on the story. CL kicks off with a solid, single cutaway body made of lightweight Honduran mahogany back and premium flamed maple top. The top is bound in grained ivoroid binding and finished in high gloss. Pickguard is omitted from the specs list for Collings CL. The bridge is made up of a tune-o-matic bridge and a stoptail bar. In the pickups compartment Lollar supplies a pair of full-sized humbuckers controlled by split volume and tone knobs. Pickup switch is a three-way toggle. The neck is covered with a rosewood fingerboard. 22 frets, dot position inlays, 12" radius and 1-11/16" radius complete the fingerboard. 24-7/8" scale and Gotoh tuners wrap the specs list.
