SK-1 FR is one of two top Skatecaster models in the Desolation series. Desolation line of guitars is aimed at players of all levels, who are looking for a serious alternative to Ibanez, Jackson and other top brands. It offers a wide variety of models, shapes and hardware combinations to suit every player. SK-1 rocks an interesting Skatecaster double-cut shape with solid construction and flat-top design. Tier 1 models, including SK-1 FR, come with mahogany backs and maple tops. This one is available in Flat Black and Transparent Black. Bridge section on this model is equipped with a double-locking Floyd Rose bridge. EMG 81 and 85 are installed in the front. Set in mahogany neck sports the standard 24-fret rosewood fingerboard on it`s top.
