TAT series is one of the main pillars of the Caparison catalog, being with us for more than 20 years (the first TAT prototype came around in 1995). Today`s TAT series` lineup is formed by a quartet of super-versatile axes with the iconic TAT design. TAT Special 7 FM starts off with a through-body neck, flat-top body, combined Schaller/Gotoh hardware, and Caparison electronics. Natural, Stain Black, Black Berry, and Blue Berry color options exist (all with matte finish, Cosmo Black hardware). main construction features include a five-piece maple/walnut neck (Caparison profile, Devil`s Tail headstock), mahogany body wings, walnut top, and ebony fingerboard (27 frets, locking nut, clock inlays). Other notable features include Original Floyd Rose bridge, locking Gotoh tuners, and Caparison PH7 pickups.
