Fratello is considered by Benedetto Guitars, it`s manufacturer, as a benchmark jazz guitar. Also, a wide audience outside of Benedetto Guitars considers this model to be the role model jazz guitar. It comes with a vintage styling and premium features. Body sports a standard archtop jazz guitar shape with single Venetian cutaway. Fratello comes in five different color options: natural, opulent brown, claret, antique burst and honey blonde. They all come finished in high gloss lacquer. Back and side panels on Fratello are made of European flamed maple and the top is made of European spruce. All tone woods on Benedetto guitars are top class and hand prepared. Top is bound in white and it`s arched. Pickguard is elevated and made of ebony. A pair of "f" holes is also featured. In the bridge section, Fratello features a double installment. In front, there is an ebony bridge, and it`s paired with an ebony trapezoid tailpiece in the back. Electronics on this model are made up of Benedetto S-6 pickup in the neck position and volume knob positioned in the corner of the pickguard. Neck is made of American flamed maple and it is connected to the body with a set-in joint. Fingerboard is made of ebony and it comes with a set of 21 frets with mother-of-pearl block inlays. 12" radius and 1.75" wide bone nut complete the fingerboard specs. Scale length is 25 inches and the body is 17 inches wide. Gotoh tuners installed on this model are plated in gold. Price for Fratello jazz guitar is set at $19,600.
