Bambino Elite is one of the smallest hollow-bodied guitars produced by Benedetto Guitars. It comes with only 14-1/2" wide body with 2-1/4" depth. Though small in size, this guitar makes it all up with amazing tone and playability. This guitar aims at players of shorter stature, or players who simply like smaller bodied guitars. Bambino Elite is available in Violin Burst color and it is finished in nitrocellulose lacquer. This is matched with black hardware and abundance of ebony parts. Construction-wise, this guitar is a thoroughbred hollow-bodied guitar with single Venetian cutaway and parallel spruce bracing. 25" scale is Benedetto`s signature length. Body is made of quilted maple back and sides. Both European and American maple are used, depending on availability. Top is made of spruce. Again, availability decides European, or American spruce. Top panel features no binding around it`s edges. It is arched and carved with a pair of stylized "f" holes. Also, it features an elevated pickguard made of ebony. Bridge section features an adjustable ebony bridge with a trapezoid tailpiece also made of ebony. In the electronics department, a Benedetto B-6 pickup with black plating is installed in the neck position. Bridge position is vacant. Control section includes master volume and tone knobs. Neck on this model is made of flamed maple and it is topped with an ebony fingerboard. 22 frets, custom 12th fret inlay made of abalone, 12" radius and 1-11/16" wide ebony nut complete the fingerboard. The price is set at $14,200.
