JR is among the lower tiers of the standard B.C. Rich catalog. It`s main target are the younger players and those who can not afford an expensive, pro level guitar. JRV Edge is one of the series typical models.
It comes with a solid and beveled basswood body with a bolt-on maple neck. This type of construction and tonewood selection are pretty uniform throughout the JRV range. The neck features modern C profile in the back and a 24-fret rosewood fingerboard on top. Diamond inlays, 1-11/16" nut and 12" radius are featured on the fingerboard.
BDSM pickups bring a ferocious tone perfectly suited for metal and hard rock. Two volume controls, master tone and 3-position switch make up a simple and effective controls unit. String-through-body TOM bridge and B.C. Rich tuners complete the specs list.
