B.C`s Gunslinger Retro continues where the first shred machines of the 1980s have stopped. It offers the classic double-cut design with solid body and bolted neck. Body of this exceptional shred machine is solid, double-cut, flat on top and made of basswood. When it comes to shred guitars, basswood is actually a very desirable tonewood, for it has very pronounced mids, while still having decent lows and highs. This Gunslinger six-string axe comes in Black, Neon Green and Yellow. All are finished in gloss and have black hardware. Floyd Rose bridge is installed on top and it`s fronted by a bridge-positioned passive humbucker. There is no neck pickup and this bridge humbucker is slanted. Bolted maple neck is topped with a 22-fret maple fingerboard.
