Sonus is the most important and the most popular line of electric basses in the Zon catalog. It encompasses all of the zones and fields of the market Zon competes in, as it offers over twenty models in all classes from intermediate to luxury. Sonus 4/2 is one of the basic Sonus (intermediate level) models and one of many four-stringers (besides four, there are five, six and eight-stringers). This one is solid, double-cut and made of alder back and maple top. Zon offers this model in a standard range of color and finish options. All are fit with chrome hardware. Two active humbucking pickups with a simple controls unit are installed on the top of the body. Maple neck is bolted to the body and topped with a 24-fret phenolic fingerboard.
