Along with the legendary Taurus series, Washburn also makes a small line of Sonamaster electric basses. The Sonamasters were inspired by the classic Fenders of 50`s and 60`s and offer a combination of vintage looks and modern playability and tone. SP1PB is a solid-bodied four-stringer, with a double-cut body, standard 34" scale, bolt-on neck, passive electronics, and Washburn hardware. This workhorse is available in Gloss Black, with chrome hardware, white pickguard, and gloss body finish. Core construction features include a solid alder body, maple neck, and 21-fret fingerboard made of rosewood (offset dot position inlays, 1.65" NuboNe string nut). Other notable features include a Washburn P-style pickup in the middle position (vol, tone), a hardtail bridge, and die-cast tuning machines.
