Arpege IV opens up the Vigier range of four-stringed electric basses. It comes with a solid, double cutaway body made of flamed maple back, alder middle and flamed maple top. the top is carved and finished in varnish gloss. There are no top or back bindings on this model. The bridge featured on this model is a monorail with four gold-plated saddles. In the pickups compartment Vigier installs their own pair of single-soil pickups. These come with master volume and master balance knobs accompanied by a three-band equalizer. Neck on this Arpege is made of maple and it features a well-known D contour. Fingerboard is made of phenowood and it features 24 medium-sized frets, dot position inlays and 1.57" wide teflon nut. 33-4/5" scale and Schaller machine heads complete the specs list.
