James Johnston and his Scottish rockers from Biffy Clyro are redefining the popular rock sound these years and James is one of the most prominent four-string slingers around. His signature series is made by Squier and it currently consists of only one model, James Johnston Jazz Bass. It comes with a solid and double-cut body with an offset waist and bolt-on neck joint. It is made of basswood in it`s entirety and it`s equipped with a classic set of hardware. Big plastic pickguard is there, as well as a four-saddled High Mass bridge with chrome plating and a pair of passive single-coil pickups with a standard set of controls (two volumes and one tone). Neck is made of maple and on it`s top, there is a 20-fret rosewood fingerboard.
