Affinity series bass section is not as large and wide as the guitar section, but it offers some pretty cool four and five-stringers. Precision and Jazz models dominate the series bass roster and are currently the only models available. Affinity Bass PJ is a four-stringed model with solid body construction and classic Precision Bass design. It comes with a flat double-cut body made of alder. Big plastic pickguard is the only decoration on the top and all three color options have a black one. Color palette of this four-stringed Precision is made up of Metallic Red, Olympic White and Black. All three come with glossy finish and rosewood-made fingerboards. Hardtail bridge is plated in chrome and has top-load construction. In front of this four-saddle bridge, Squier installs a jazz pickup in the bridge and P pickup in the neck position. Maple neck is bolted to the body and is topped with a 20-fret fingerboard. Medium jumbo frets, dot inlays, 9.50" radius and 1.50" synthetic bone nut complete the fingerboard. Vintage-styled tuners are found on the headstock. 34" scale and chrome-plated hardware wrap up the specs list for this P Bass.
