Vintage series in the Stiletto range is a brand new one introduced at the 2015 NAMM show in Anaheim, Ca. This series, along with the Stealth, reinforces and further diversifies the cult Stiletto range.A modest start for the Vintage series, as it`s initial lineup has only for models (two right and two left handed. Stiletto Vintage 5 is a five-stringed bass guitar with elegant retro styling and modern construction. Also, it features Schecter`s own electronics and hardware. Solid and double-cut body of this model is made of basswood - the most standard tonewood in the entire Stiletto range. It is paired with a maple-made neck with thin C profile in the back and a 24-fret rosewood fingerboard on top. Body of this exquisite five-string is equipped with a big white pickguard and a five-saddled top-load bridge. Construction-wise, it does remind of the famous Ibanez Monorail system, but is a genuine Schecter product. Schecter`s Diamond series pickups (SuperRock MM humbucker in the bridge and Diamond J in the middle position). Master volume, pickup pan knob and two-piece equalizer (powered by a 9v battery) 24-fret rosewood fingerboard and a set of five Schecter tuners on the headstock wrap the specs list.
