Thru-Neck 5 Fretless is one of two fretless basses in the Helix series and is also one of two five-stringers (the other one is Thru-Neck 5). This marvelous piece of luthiery comes with the best materials and hardware Lace has to offer. Solid and double-cut body with offset waist is made up of mahogany wings on the side and maple neck in the middle, thus creating one of the most popular combinations of tonewoods for neck-through-body basses. This one shares the color palette with other Helix models. As the rest of them, it also has the chrome-plated hardware. On the top of the body, there is a pair of humbucking pickups with huge control knobs. Maple neck is topped with a fretless rosewood fingerboard.
