JTB 134 is an electric bass made by jay Turser. Jay Turser is a fairly young brand and it`s on a constant rise in recent years. Their main focus is on the lower intermediate and intermediate guitars and basses. The increasing amount of success of Jay Turser models is caused primarily by increasing level of build and design quality. JTB 134 is one of the best examples and proofs, as it is among the most popular models in the bass segment. It features a thin semi-hollow body with set in neck construction. See-through plastic pickguard, two bound "f" holes, two-piece bridge and a pair of active humbucking pickups are featured on the top of this elegant four-stringer. Set in maple neck is equipped with a 22-fret rosewood fingerboard.

Ok, there are a couple bits of misinformation in the review above...this bass has no pickguard, and the pickups are passive mini humbuckers, not active. Other than that, all is true...this is a great bass for a decent price, if you can find one new! I got the natural finish version in 2008, and it's my favorite blues bass. It has a sweet, rounded tone, much like a Hofner Beatle bass but bigger sounding, if that's possible. The neck is slim, but still feels like there's something in your hands. It's heavier than you'd think (think Fender Jazz), but not overly so. Great bass for those looking for a budget semi hollow bass, and for those who want to break away from playing a bass that everyone in the universe is playing! Coolness personified!
