Strong, defined punch and surgically precise chops are trademarks of David Ellefson`s tone. They were developed during his years with Megadeth, arguably the most technically advanced thrash metal bands out there. Also, one of the heaviest. David`s signature Jackson line was designed for exceptionally heavy duties, having been created primarily with Megadeth`s music in mind. CB-X is one of four models in the current lineup and is the only four-stringed Concert Bass model (there`s also five-stringed Concert and a pair of Kelly Bird models). Classic Concert Bass design and construction with alder body and maple neck is combined with Jacskon hardware and EMG electronics (HZ pickups). Top-load bridge, Jackson`s die-cast tuners and a 21-fret rosewood fingerboard with shark fin markers round off the major specs of this super heavy four string.
