Mondial line of guitars and basses in Italia catalog is one of few series which are not named after Italian cities and towns. However, it does feature the distinct elegant styling common to all models made under the Italia Guitars banner. Bass side of the Mondial series is made up of three very elegant intermediate four-stringers and Mondial Sportster features the graceful 1960s-styled design. Body of this model is solid, double-cut and made of once very popular korina wood. It`s paired with a bolt-on maple neck. Red, Green, White, Blue and Black Mondial Sportsters are currently available. Two-piece bridge is plated in chrome and it features a full-sized humbucking pickup in the front (neck position). 22-fret fingerboard is made of rosewood and features elegant abalone block inlays.
