SR2605 is the most expensive and the most prestigious five-string member of SR range`s Premium tier, it is in class with many a hand-made boutique basses. Main features include a state of the art 15-piece neck (panga panga, maple, padauk, purpleheart, walnut) w/titanium reinforcement rods & super-fast Atlas-5 profile, passive Nordstrand Big Single pickups w/extended controls unit (3-band EQ, EQ on/off switch, 3-way mid frequency switch), combined Gotoh/Ibanez hardware (locking Gotoh tuners, Ibanez Monorail bridge), and 24-fret panga panga fingerboard (34" scale, 12" radius, 1.77" string nut). Cerulean Blue Burst (gloss finish, matching headstock, gold hardware, natural back) is the only currently available color option. Mahogany body w/contoured poplar burl top completes the list of main features.
