BTB series is one of two major contributors to the cross-series platform named Ibanez Bass Workshop (the other one`s ubiquitous SR). Workshop`s BTB models often sport slightly shorter scales, full-sized tone, and outstanding playability. The new BTB845V comes in with a pretty limited color palette, being currently available only in Antique Brown Stained Low Gloss (w/matching headstock, black hardware, black plastics). Main construction features include a solid and double-cut BTB body (mahogany/ash wings, poplar burl top, beveled top), a 5-piece maple/walnut neck (neck-through-body construction, BTB5 profile, graphite reinforcement rods), a 24-fret jatoba fingerboard (dot inlays, 1.77 wide nut, 33" scale, 15.75" radius), a five-saddle Monorail bridge, Bartolini`s popular BH2 soapbar pickups, and die-cast tuners.
