BT series basses have always been known for their unique combination of marvelous tone, stunning looks and supreme build quality. Fancy tops, exclusive electronics options and incredible construction quality were, and still are, the strongest selling points of the majestic BTB solid-bodied basses. The tradition continues with a pair of new 1600 Premium class models - one five-stringer and one six-stringer. These two newcomers belong to the Premium division and rock some pretty awesome specs lists. BTB1605E brings neck-through-body construction, Nordstrand electronics and top-shelf hardware. Deep Twilight Flat and Natural Flat make up the color palette. BTB1605 comes in with a solid and flat body made of mahogany wings, wenge/bubinga/maple neck center and poplar burl top. Super deep cutaway allows total access to the 24-fret fingerboard installed on top of the 9-piece neck. Small dot inlays, medium-sized frets, 1.85: nut and 15.75" radius are featured on the fingerboard. Electronics section boasts a pair of magnificent Nordstrand "Big Single" pickups with an extended controls unit. Being a Premium class instrument, BTB1605E also gets a Monorail bridge unit with gold plating, as well as a set of deluxe tuners, also plated in gold.
