Signature segment of the Ibanez bass catalog might not be as large as guitar signature segment, but it certainly offers the same level of quality of both instruments and musicians. Moreover, basses found in this segment are among the best and finest in the world, made for and perfected by the best players out there. ANB306E is one of three signature basses Ibanez has introduced this January in Anaheim, Ca. It is a solid-bodied bass with six strings, standard 34" scale and one of the most extensive electronics options. Exotic tonewoods are also prominently featured in the construction. ANB306E kicks off with a solid and double-cut SR body made of mahogany wings and two-piece flamed maple cap on top. Wings and top are glued onto the five-piece neck made of maple and purple heart wood. It is a custom-made neck with ANB profile and contoured heel. 24-fret fingerboard on its top is made of purple heart. It features medium frets, 2.16" nut and 15.75" radius. Bartolini`s xxM56C soapbar pickups are passive and occupy both the bridge and middle positions. Controls unit has independent bass/treble and mid boost/cut pots and a three-way mid frequency selector, along with volume and balance knobs. A style Hipshot bridge and modern tuners complete the specs.
