Artcore series was introduced back in 2002 and it became an instant classic, a staple of Ibanez catalog. Over the years, the series diversified into a number of sub-series and auxiliary ranges with the main Artcore series still remaining the heart of the Hollow Body department. AF55L is an affordable six-stringer with vintage styling, short 24.7" scale, a raw tone, and exquisite playability. Tobacco Flat (w/satin finish, creme binding, chrome hardware, black plastics) is the only currently available color option. The model highlights include an all-maple body (arched top/back, two "f" holes), a mahogany neck (Artcore profile, set-in joint, satin finish), 20-fret bound rosewood fingerboard (dot inlays, 1.69" nut, 12" radius), an ART-ST bridge, Infinity humbuckers, and die-cast tuners.
