Vintage Sunburst
500/1 Vintage `61 Cavern is one of many Violin Bass models produced by Hofner. This one belongs to the line of vintage replicas of the historic Violin basses from the 1950s and 1960s. It comes with a traditional construction and design. Maple and spruce are used as the main tonewoods on this model, as they were used back in 1961. Maple is found on the back and sides, while the contoured top is made of spruce. Hofner offers this model with Vintage Sunburst as it`s only color option. It`s finished in gloss and features nickel-plated hardware. `61 Cavern model features the classic two-piece bridge section and dual minibucker pickups combo. Maple neck is set in and made of three parts. 21-fret rosewood fingerboard on it`s top completes the specs list.
