Retrospect series models are vintage-styled bass options from Fernandes and they take up after the original Fender Jazz Bass. Retrospect series only had 4X and 5X models in it`s lines, but with 2012, the Deluxe JP class is introduced. retrospect 4 Deluxe JP is a solid bodied, double cutaway model made of ash body and maple neck. The body is, as the tradition is, flat and features no binding. Large, vintage shaped plastic pickguard covers a large part of the top. Colors which go with this bass are black, snow white and three-color sunburst, all with gloss finish. The bridge is made by Gotoh, and it is a chrome plated, vintage styled four saddle bridge. Pickups come from EMG and are set in J-P configuration with the EMG-J in the bridge and EMG-P in the middle position. They are controlled through master volume, master tone, blend and mid boost/cut. The neck is made of maple and is attached to the body via the bolt-on joint. The rosewood fingerboard is equipped with 22 jumbo sized frets and pearl dot position inlays. 34" scale, 16" radius, 1.50" wide Graphtech nut an Gotoh die-cast tuning machines complete the spec.
