Steve Harris Precision Bass (2015) by Fender
Olympic White

Steve Harris, the man behind and in front of the world`s greatest heavy metal band, Iron Maiden, is also an avid fan of Fender`s classic Precision Bass. For around four decades of his music career, Steve has played almost exclusively Precisions. Talk about staying true to your roots. Also, he is a long-time Fender signature artist, and one of the most popular on the four-string side of the family. For 2015, Fender and Mr Harris are revising the instrument which made Iron Maiden what they are today, which galloped, thundered and chimed on fifteen studio albums, numerous live CD and DVD releases and across countless stages around the world. Right off the bat, the color scheme is being updated from the Blue Sparkle to more elegant Olympic White with mirror pickguard and West Ham Utd crest on the bass side of the Hi Mass bridge. Body is made of two pieces of carefully selected maple and it rocks the iconic Precision contour. Electronics department keeps it simple with a custom Seymour Duncan Steve Harris Signature P pickup, master volume and master tone controls. C-contoured neck is also made of maple, as is the 20-fret fingerboard. Medium jumbo frets with black dot inlays and 1.615" wide synthetic bone nut complete the fingerboard. Steve Harris Precision Bass for 2015 is also fit with a set of vintage-styled Fender tuners with open-gear construction. They`re installed on the classic `70s headstock.
