Highway One is among the younger series in Fender`s catalog and it offers the intermediate options for younger players who seek modern tone and classic beauty. Bass side of this series is fit with one Jazz and one P bass. Highway One Jazz Bass has a solid and double-cut alder body in combination with a bolted maple neck. It has a 34" scale, standard 20-fret fingerboard, four vintage-styled tuning machines installed on the headstock, modern back contour on the neck and chrome-plated hardware. Electronics on this model are passive. Pickups department is fit with two single-coil pickups (Jazz pickups is a popular name for single-coil bass pickups). Four-saddled bridge behind them has chrome plating. Maple neck is topped with a rosewood fingerboard with dot inlays and 7.50" radius.
