American Standard Precision Bass is the mother of all Precision Bass models. It is the standard by which all others are judged, measured and positioned. In the standard part of the catalog, excluding the Custom Shop, American Standard series is among the top lines, ranking behind the American Deluxe and American Vintage models. American Standard Precision Bass comes with the standard 34" scale, four-string construction, 20-fret fingerboard and standard pickups combo. Body is solid, double-cut and flat on top. It is made of alder and matched with a maple neck. Color palette is wide and offers both rosewood and maple fingerboards for each color. High Mass bridge with four saddles is fronted with one P pickup in the middle position. Maple neck is fit with a C contour in the back and 20-fret fingerboard on the top.
