Right after the launch of the Esquire and then Briadcaster/Nocaster/Telecaster models, Fender unveils their first electric bass with solid body, 34" scale and four-string construction. It was named Precision bass and it drew it`s styling front the Telecaster family of models. Very soon Precision is redesigned and takes on the styling for which it is known around the world. '50s Precision Bass celebrates the first decade of Precision Bass production. It comes with a solid, double-cut alder body paired with a classic maple neck. Vintage bridge is plated in chrome and it is fronted with one vintage-styled P pickup. Controls unit contains the master volume and master tone knobs. C-shaped neck is fit with a vintage-styled 20-fret fingerboard made of maple.
