Custom Shop`s 1961 Precision Bass Relic is one of several Precision Bass models with the "Relic" styling. This type of styling incorporates the age and year-precise hardware, paint and decoration appointments with body paint, fingerboard, back of the neck and hardware being aged and worn. After the build, instruments are being aged in the shop, under controlled circumstances in order to achieve the looks, feel and tone of already "played on", aged instruments. Body of this sweet four-stringer is made of alder and sculpted in the classic Precision shape. There are 3 Color Sunburst and White Blonde color options available for this model. Vintage-styled bridge and middle-positioned pickup both have metal covers above them. Maple neck is equipped with a C contour in the back and a 20-fret rosewood fingerboard on the top.
