Phoenix II series of electric basses is based on the legendary Thunderbird shape and offers vintage looks along with versatile tone. This series is one of several affordable ESP lines made for all round players who like the vintage looks and powerful tone. Body of Phoenix II bass is solid, single-cut and made of mahogany wings. Center of the body is made of maple and it is also an extension of the neck (Phoenix II has neck-through-body construction). On top of the body, there`s a white plastic pickguard as the only piece of decoration. Four-saddled bridge is fronted with a pair of humbucking pickups with basic volume and tone controls. Maple neck sports the characteristic U contour in the back and a 20-fret ebony fingerboard on the top.
