Bunny Brunel`s signature series contains two models, one is a four-string and the other one features five strings. This article is, however, dedicated to the basic, four-string model. Named BB-1004QM STBLKSB, this solid-bodied double-cut features neck-through-body construction, Hipshot hardware, Aguilar electronics and other exclusive features. Wings of the body are made of alder, while the center is occupied by the maple-made neck and top is reserved for the gorgeous quilt maple cover. Black hardware blends marvelously with the See Thru Black Sunburst color scheme of the body and headstock. On the top, ESP installs a four-saddled hipshot bridge (Hipshot hardware is the standard for both Bunny Burnel models). Full-sized humbucker in the bridge and single-coil in the neck (middle) position are passive, but are matched with active electronics. Master volume with push/pull switch, blend knob, bass/treble stack and mid boost/cut knob with push/pull switch offer an unprecedented level of versatility, making this bass a great choice for all the players out there who play in multiple bands and projects. Maple neck rocks the classic C profile (five-string version has the modern asymmetrical contour). 24-fret ebony fingerboard and Hipshot tuners complete the specs list.
