B series is one of the main bass series in LTD catalog. It is in charge of a vast fleet of modern-designed bass guitars with 24-fret fingerboards, bolted necks and ESP hardware & electronics.
B-55 L/H is one of several left-handed models present in the current lineup. It offers a flat, double-cut body made entirely of basswood and a U-shaped maple neck (the most standard combination in the B series). Neck is topped with a rosewood fingerboard (24 frets, of course) with dot markers over the extra jumbo frets.
ESP Designed J and P pickups form the classic combo. Though a versatile and pretty much all-round instrument, B-55 L/H feels best when used for metal and hard rock. Hardtail bridge and tuners are LTD branded.
