LTD B series offers ESP`s affordable electric basses with modern double-cut design, performance-oriented hardware, and mostly stock electronics (more expensive models do feature high-class electronics). It`s divided into predefined tiers (50/100/200/400/1000, etc.) like the rest of the LTD guitar and bass series, with 200 tier offering a unique combo of pleasing looks and affordable hardware & electronics. The new B-208SM is an eight-string model (four double-coursed strings), made for players eager to expand their sonic horizons. Main construction features include a solid and double-cut ash body w/spalt maple top, a 5-piece maple/jatoba neck, a 24-fret roasted jatoba fingerboard (15.75" radius, 34" scale, dot inlays), a two-piece hardtail bridge, ESP Designed pickups, and LTD tuners.
