B 155 DX is a model from the standard B series of electric basses made by ESP. This series is set within the LTD part of the catalog and aims at young players and all other bassists who feel young. Style-wise, B series leans towards modern hard rock, metal and punk sound, leaving the softer, mellower and vintage stuff to other series. B 155 DX is a solid and double-cut bass with five-string construction, full-length scale and some pretty neat decorations. Body of this model is made of basswood back and flamed maple top. Bridge of this model is fit with five adjustable saddles and is fronted with a pair of active humbucking pickups. Maple neck is bolted to the body and is topped with a 24-fret rosewood fingerboard.
