Dean Guitars have a vast and diverse catalog with instruments ranging from budget-friendly options to custom shop exclusives. All segments were updated at this year`s NAMM show, including the popular Zone series of electric basses. This series is a long time member in Dean catalog and it currently offers only one model. It`s name is Zone Bass and it`s been introduced at this year`s NAMM show. Zone is a modern looking and modern sounding bass guitar made for everybody. It`s comfortable, fast and elegant. Body of this bass is solid, double-cut and made of basswood. There is no top wood cover on it`s top. Also, there`s no binding and there`s no pickguard. Three color options are available for this four-stringer: Metallic Silver, Metallic Blue and Metallic Black. All are finished in high gloss. Neck on this model is made of maple and it`s equipped with standard C contour in the back. Bolted neck is topped with a 22-fret fingerboard made of rosewood. Fingerboard features 1-9/16" wide string nut. There`s only one DMT Design pickup in the middle position. Bridge section sports a die-cast bridge.
